Shortly after purchase the tuners broke and I need replacements. Where do I get replacements for them? Poor quality for sure.

UPDATE: I wish I could give this 6 stars. It sounds fantastic and feels excellent in the hand.Be prepared to do some sanding and shimming. This guitar is beautiful, but the neck is bolt-on, and out of the box the strings laid on the fretboard. I had to shim and sand the neck for a couple hours, tearing down and restringing a dozen times before it was playable. Do not get this if you're not willing to file, sand, and shim to get things into alignment. If you are willing to file and sand, it's a gorgeous kit and a couple hours of tuning gets it going great. Five stars, as long as people know it's not a 5-minute "bolt it together and play".

I'm gonna start with I love this guitar! Received a black Friday deal and for the price decided to get it as a Christmas gift to ME!I wasn't expecting much for the price, so my expectations were really low. Man, what a pleasant surprise. I can't stress enough what a great cbg this is for the price. It's more like a prefabricated kit. No luthier skills required. Anyone should be able to do this.Assembly was really easy. You pretty much Bolt up the neck, plug in the pickup, string it and start playing. As far as CBG's are concerned this is just a really nice playing guitar right out of the box. My only gripe was the action was WAY TO LOW FOR PLAYING SLIDE.I ended up playing around with the bridge saddle and not realizing that it had a piezo pickup in the bridge, I accidently screwed up the pickup. 😬 That was on me.I ended up going with the cheap bolt with the head cut off as the new bridge saddle and swapped out the bridge pickup for a really nice piezo that I placed inside the box. After a little tinkering around, I can't stress enough how nice this thing plays and sounds. No tinkering was necessary but I had to mess with the bridge saddle. If you don't play slide, you're probably going to love it right out of the box. I love low action, but it was just too hard to play slide out of the box.If I could do it over, I'd probably just order a higher bridge saddle and cut and shape it myself. Being extra careful of the pickup in the bridge of course. 🙃 The bolt bridge worked great though and I used an Everbilt #10-24 × 3 cut headless bolt for the perfect string height for my playing style. The guitar seems to have stayed in intonation. Seriously, great product for the money. No ground issues. Plays and sounds absolutley fantastic. If you're an experienced builder you're going to love playing around with this thing and will probably wonder how they can do it at this price. I know I did.If you're new, this is the perfect CBG to get a little experience with building. It's all there, even the tools. The only other tool I needed was a pair of plyers to tighten the machine head nuts that must have lossened during shipping.Seriously though, you're not going to believe the quality of this product for the price. On A final note, the metal bar where you string it is just a hair off center. Not much, but worth mentioning for those with OCD. I'll probably tinker with that the next time I change the strings. Still, completely playable right out of the box! This was another reason I ended up going with the bolt style bridge saddle, I could make a little adjustment to the strings placing them in the groves of the bolt to adjust the alignment.Great guitar for the price. With a little setup work, this thing really plays awesome!SUPER HAPPY AND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.Merry Christmas to me! 🤣I'm giving this thing 5 stars because I think it's a really high quality (cbg) cigar box guitar for the price!

Maybe not a "kit" but certainly a cigar box guitar that arrives in two pieces, needs putting together and stringing. It went together easily, I didn't need sandpaper, block plane, extra skills as mentioned in some reviews. I put the neck onto the body, inserted and tightened the two bots, plugged in the electrics and closed the lid. The strings supplied were then mounted and tuned (GDg). Tuning was easy. I am not sure the bridge is "cow bone" but I am not bothered. The finish of the box and neck is very good. The shape of the neck allows easy hand movement. Now the important bit. The sound of this cigar box guitar is excellent, No fret buzz, The action is low and strings easy to fret, The intonation is perfect, same at 12th as open. I checked this about six times with two tuners because I couldn't quite believe it. The electrics work and give a good volume, the performance exceeds the price. I have another cbg which I have owned for a number of years, this one is superior in every way. Does it compare to a six string Gretsch or Gibson? No, of course not, it's not intended to do that. This is a three string cigar box guitar, it's a simple musical instrument, it's fun, tuneful, easy to play and you can quickly play a rhythm, tune, riff etc.If you want fun learning and playing then I highly recommend this guitar.

This little guitar was exactly what I was looking for. Teaching myself to play and the 3 chord system is very bluesy sounding and was what I was looking for. Took to my local music store and they were impressed with design and quality. Great price…easy to assemble. Did have a bit of a time stringing the strings ,but finally got it. Perfect size and happy birthday from me!

This is the finest manufactured cbg you can get. Since it is manufactured, it has the benefit of some components you would only see on acoustic guitar. That is not something you get from hobbiest makers or on etsy.It has two issues that concern me.1. Cigar box guitars are usually through-neck design. This neck bolts on like an electric guitar. To offset the fact that it has no truss rod, the neck is thick and heavy. Not necessarily a bad thing but it is top heavy.I suggest not leaving the strings tuned when not playing because something has to give out without a truss rod. Keep them slack when not in use.2. The action on mine was way too low. Lots of buzz and using a slide was not possible.I bought a bone saddle and raised the body bridge height. It's better now.I really like this guitar and it cost a third of what the makers charge for their junk. For the price, I'm not afraid to do work on it.Overall a very nice instrument.

The wood in this guitar is as nice as the pictures. All the hardware is high quality. The etching on the box is attractive, and the neck is smooth and pretty. To complete the kit you need to screw down the neck with the included wrench and close the box. Unfortunately, the notch on the top of my box was a little off and it would not close. I thought to myself "It's a kit, right?" so I filed down the side of the notch that was touching the neck a little at a time until it closed properly. Then after I put the strings on I found several frets where the strings buzzed. When I measured the height of the strings above the fretboard I found they were all a little low. To raise the strings up, I cut two plastic strips from an old credit card, trimmed them to match the bottom of the white "cow bone" and put them in the bridge underneath it. I was able to loosen the strings enough to get the cow bone out and put it back in without breaking any strings. Now I have a beautiful CBG that sounds great without even plugging in an amp, and the piezo pickup works fine when I need more sound. This is a "DIY Guitar Kit", so I think it's OK that it was not perfect. I'm actually happy I contributed something to building it.
