I am absolutely loving this "CIRCLE JOY Rechargeable Electric Can Opener"! I have a dozen children and well over a dozen grandchildren and I am lucky enough to have most of them near me so I always have grandbabies around - often on my hip. Meal prep is never easier with a certain precious 9-month-old granddaughter in my arms because whatever it is I am trying to do, those little hands are right there wanting to explore! My options usually boil down to putting her down (which can lead to fussiness), wrangling her into a carrier (which she enjoys even less!), or resorting to the quickest, simplest meals. I like option 3 because it leaves me with more time to play with the babies anyway!So, this can opener is such a fantastic discovery! I can literally just place it on top of the can and press a button and it really works! This is a huge improvement over the countertop "electric" can openers that used to be such a luxury over a hand can opener. Those are better than the manual kind, but they still take two hands to operate. Another huge bonus of this can opener is that we can take it everywhere we go. No more of those trashy canopeners that we used to keep in our camping kit - those were the worst! This one is not only super convenient and electric but easily portable and does not take up any more space than one of those old dinosaurs. This can opener effortlessly moves around the can on its own, creating a smooth and safe cut every time. I no longer have to worry about sharp, jagged edges that could potentially harm little fingers (or my own!).My husband also mentioned how great this thing is the other day. He doesn't spend a great deal of time in the kitchen so I was surprised when he came out and said, "Honey! Have you SEEN this canopener?!" I literally had to laugh out loud. Yes, Dear, I do know about the canopener we have. I use it every day." But I can see why he is so impressed with it. He suffers from severe arthritis, and even the simple task of opening a can can often be quite painful for him. So this really is a luxury for him. This gadget is a simple but brilliant invention and I think everyone should try one. You won't believe how much easier this makes that task. AND I never have to worry about my 8 year old triplets getting cut on jagged edges either.Whether you're caring for young children, dealing with hand mobility issues like arthritis, or just think these new smart kitchen gadgets are really cool, you need one of these!

Easy to use on different sized cans. Comfortable fit in hand while opening a can, but no need to keep hand on it while opening. Fits well in kitchen drawer with other items. Only takes a few seconds to fully open a can. It doesn’t tell you when it’s completed the full can top, so you have to pay attention to that. Easy to wipe down after use if you get contents of can on it. I’ve used it on 30+ cans and no sign of malfunctions or weakening of strength.

The motor burns out if you try to open more than 2 cans in a row. Needs constant cooling breaks.

For the sake of my wrists and advancing carpal tunnel I really wanted to like this product but it was all hype. It worked the first couple of times but has since become an obsolete item that is taking up valuable kitchen drawer space. It was not easy to use
