For just $6.99, this set of circular needles is a steal! I ordered the trusty US 8/5mm size and have used them with everything from delicate sock yarn to chunky chenille and basic acrylic, and they've performed beautifully across the board. They've quickly become my go-to circular needles. I even managed to knit an entire circular shawl with them, and while the yarn did bunch a little on the cable, it wasn't excessive. It's worth noting the cable length discrepancy mentioned in other reviews. If you only measure the cable itself, it's not 31 inches. However, measuring from tip to tip gives you the advertised length. I'm not sure which measurement is standard, but the overall length was as expected. The wood has a nice grip – not too slippery – and I haven't experienced any snagging issues. The plastic-coated cable also ensures smooth yarn flow without catching. The needles feature a longer taper, about an inch, which I've actually come to prefer. I feel like I have better control over my tension with this longer taper, and it gives me more room to maneuver for intermediate and advanced knitting techniques. Techniques like making bobbles, increasing, and decreasing were all a breeze with these needles. If you're looking for an affordable and reliable set of circular needles, especially if you appreciate a longer taper, these are a fantastic option!

I’m usually wary of off brand knitting needles, but this one was a delightful exception. The cable is a coated steel, much like the chiaogoo needles. The join is smooth and doesn’t catch the stitches. The tips are not sharp, like lace needles, but not so dull that you split the yarn. The needles feel like they are hollow, so they do not feel heavy, especially if you have been knitting a long time. I am delightfully surprised at the quality of these needles, and would have thought they came from a name brand needle line if I hadn’t seen the packaging. The size is imprinted near the cable connection point, and not the easiest to read, but that’s an issue with ALL needles on the market. It’s easy enough to take a photo on my phone and enlarge the photo to read the size. They are a joy to knit with and I think are worth every penny. Much less expensive than the name brands, but performs just as well.

I’m a pretty new knitter so I’m still figuring things out. But one thing I figured out really early on is that working with circular knitting needles is very easy whether you’re doing a circular project or not.I made the mistake recently of buying some very cheap circular bamboo needles. This set of circular needles show me what needle should feel like. There is a smooth transition between the needle and the circular tubing. The needles do not feel rough or snag the yarn. They are very easy to work with.

In a world where most circular needles use plastic tubing to make the loop, a set of circular needles that use a wire is a step above the rest. I have been very happy using these needles in my past two projects. The needles themselves are well, and I haven't had any issue with the yarn snagging. The needles are also true to gauge, which isn't always the case when you order them off the internet.

These knitting needles work very well. I have a name brand set and I've ordered some less expensive ones online before, just to be disappointed. This circular needle is comparable to the major brand name as far as knit quality. I'm a fast knitter so the last thing I want is my yarn snagged on the connections as I knit in the round. Unlike others I've purchased, before, this circular needle has no snag on my yarn as I'm knitting. That is the most important aspect of the needle, for me.The size is ideal for knitting quick projects in the round. It is comfortable to hold and work with. I prefer wooden needles to metal ones also. I think this is a great buy!

Materials are great and made very well...except for the fact that they are 31" long and not at all the 16" I purchased. :/ Why the hell is darning needles even mentioned?? These are knitting needles.
