I would describe myself as serious player on selmer six yas62 and 875 custom soprano. I run Lakeys happily on all three w rovner ligs. Setting up the horns similar makes it much nicer when u change. I was happy w the 7.3 in my alto. Before that I played 6.3. Now 8.3. That's big on an alto. I thought the seven was ultimate. But the eight adds thickness and husky clearness that's the same direction as mps get bigger. They are easy to grow into. I'd probably do it the same again. Although I now have two pieces to sell. All the Lakeys let u express yourself with out fighting. The bigger pieces add more but I wouldn't start bigger than six. Amazon has worked flawlessly w me. They actually got me that seven in twenty hrs from order. Finish out. Soprano loves the six. Tenor seven. Those really fit the horns and my style. Don't b afraid of the eight on alto. Muscular sound. Assuming experience its easy blowing. I'm happy to have it. Recommend to appropriate.
