Elastic is not tight enough for Jon boat seats. I think see a bungee cord and problem solved. They would be great for center console folding pedestal seats.

I thought the covers were a have canvas w/elastic. They are plastic. Weird shape Not going to last long. Very thin. I think they will tear real easily. We'll see how log they last. I could be wrong. Didn't even last a month. Already torn. Waste of my money.

I have birds who love to rest on my boat seats. I spent a lot of time scrubbing them clean. With these covers, that effort is no longer. Great product, easy to install and at a good price.

These work pretty well on our standard pedestal boat seats, and if we put them on and off carefully I am hoping we'll get a few years out them. The fabric is not the thickest, but so far it is holding up through 40 mph winds, and is waterproof. It would have been smarter if the manufacturer had left a loop of the elastic accessible, as it is way too loose for it to be effective (and would have blown off in a 10 mph wind if we had not tightened it). My wife ripped out part of the seam for the elastic and tied a knot in it to give it better holding ability, and then she re-sewed the seam. With a little thought, I think the manufacturer could have figured out that this sort of cover would need to be a little more adjustable -- but they didn't.

These seat covers do the trick very well! They are very good quality for the price. They are made of similar material as a good outdoor grill cover. They are very water resistant as well. They should hold up for years if taken care of properly. I highly recommend them.

These covers for the folding fishing seats are a different material than canvas, and I prefer them. They won’t get stiff like the canvas do with age. Put the cover over the front of the seat and the top folded on it first. Then take the cover and lift and pull it over the rear hinges part of the seat. You won’t tear them if put them on in this manner. I highly recommend these!!!

I received these today and was a little disappointed because for some reason I though that they were made of waterproof canvas like a boat cover but they are made of Vinyl. That being said, I am very happy with this purchase, the cover fits well, looks good, appears to be heavy duty enough to last a while, and will work perfect to protect my seats from the effects of the sun and rain. when Im not using the boat.I plan to order a couple for for my other boat.
