I ordered this item on the basis of requiring a rack to store a series of cds by a particular singer (Katie Melua) and am one album short currently (ordered and on its way!!) Of her studio albums so I thoroughly checked out all of the racks available on amazon and painstakingly read all of the reviews as I always do on every product I buy from them. Firstly the rack needs no assembly, it's sturdy enough, storage capacity is sufficient for my needs and it fits neatly onto the shelving were it going to be permanently housed an important point as some reviews state that it's open sided and thus subject to the cds/dvds etc can fall out if the unit is moved and sometimes removing a disc can cause others to move, well, yes both can happen so if you're prone to moving your collections around this rack isn't for you and I've found that being just a bit careful whilst removing and replacing cds I'm not experiencing movement much at all and again, this racks not for you if you're impatient and want things done "5 minutes ago "- final observation: value for money? I've never judged anything via " value for money" rather that a product MUST do exactly what it was designed to do and if it doesn't then it's not value for money whatever it costs, this rack is designed to store cds box ticked job done.

I bought the STORi Stackable Clear Plastic CD Organizer with Rubber Feet (pictured below this product) to house my latest CD purchases only to discover that type of rack only holds standard-sized jewel cases and digi/eco paks. I was unaware that many of the digipaks and ecopaks being sold today are odd-sized, primarily in glossy cardboard designs that refuse to fold flat. This affordable storage rack pairs nicely with the standard one and solves the problem. Sure beats having all the odd-sized titles stacked and constantly falling off the table.

This cd holder is o.k. but for the fact that it slides around very easily. When taking a cd out or putting one back it will slide.
