I hate when i order such plastic sleeves and the seller send it folded and there are crease lines on the sleeve. This package arrived neatly packed and in a big box to protect the sleeve from being folded during delivery. PERFECT! will order again.

I was buying much more expensive "Japanese" sleeves that were waaaay thinner and 3 times the price. But I got sick of the price so decided to "cheap out" on these. 4 packs later and I wouldn't use anything else.I have 2 cats so I have to have flaps to keep cat hair out of my sleeves and in case they knock a record off or something it doesn't skid across the floor (don't ask me how I came up with that example). Now every album goes inside these in a Hudson Hifi inner sleeve and I won't go back.Such a great value and crystal clear.

These sleeves are great for adding a thin layer of protection to your record covers, but their real appeal is visual. They're crystal clear and even make older, worn down records look great. I've included an image of how they look stacked on the shelf. You'll notice I've placed the folder flaps at the top. When I first started using these, I placed the flaps on the side so that I could quickly open the flap and pull the record out without having to remove the cover. I started to notice, however, that the flaps on the other records were getting bent up when I'd slide the whole thing back into the stack. Since switching the flaps to the top, I haven't had a problem. Also, I'm 200 sleeves in and I've only had one incident in which cover failed and split open. I've been able to fit sleeves onto double gatefold LPs no problem. You just have to take it easy with the thicker covers and finesse them in. Try to just shove 'em in and yeah, you might have some problems. I included the other images of the Melvins record to illustrate how crisp and clean these covers look. My vote is they're worth it.

These are absolute trash--not sure which reviews I was reading, or how people can even justify these! The claim that they fit "Most Gatefold Jackets and Double LPs" is a flat-out lie. Gatefolds with a single LP don't fit at all, split three sleeves attempting so; didn't even bother with the double gatefolds, no way those will fit. Even single, non-gatefold LPs with no paper inserts split on a few attempts! In other words, the thinnest LPs possible can't work! These are laughably, sadly poorly made. The design of the adhesive is actually a good idea (its covered with a strip, so you can choose whether or not to adhere, and the adhesion is on the back, not the flap itself, so you don't ruin your cover putting it in). However this design is completely nullified by the horrid construction quality. This garners an immediate return, but not sure if I can as threw away at least ten that all split. Do not purchase these!

I have just purchased my second package of these sleeves. I find these to be excellent and very versatile sleeves. I don't put a resealable sleeve on all of my records jut the "special" more collectible albums in my collection. I have tried many different resealable sleeves and I like these the best. I even prefer them over my previous favorites from Sleeve City. These sleeves are not as thick as the Sleeve City sleeves but that is ok. They still protect your records very well and I need every little bit of space on my record shelves that I can get! Also these are much less expensive. These are big enough to fit every gatefold and double album in my collection. I have never had one split on me. I was even able to use them for the very large Rolling Stones "From the Vault" series triple LP sets. I had to turn the sleeve sideways so the opening was on the side instead of on top but I was just happy to have a sleeve that would fit and protect them. The four LP set in this series was too big to fit in these sleeves but I think that is to be expected.

I love these and I have bought a lot of them. My collection is about 1000 records and I have them on every one. The only thing is that their size fluctuates from batch to batch. Sometimes it is tough to fit a double LP inside. For me this isn’t a big problem because I will just switch sleeves off of another record that came from a batch of the larger ones. Also on the smaller ones sometimes the fold over flap will just barely make it to the adhesive. I like that they have the flap to close it seams like more protection than the open topped ones. They are able to be loaded so you can just pull out the inner sleeve of your album and play. You can do this with the other style but when putting them on the shelf they just bunch up when you slide it in between other records. So with those you have to load the album in a way that you must take it off every time to play your records. With Collector Protecter bunching is not a problem. Over all I really do love this product and will continue to purchase them for my collection.
