Sadly. It’s died already. Made it about 8 months. But we take great care of our pool and this thing had a good life. Not sure why it stopped.I’d change my review if there was a solve to fix it.

The seller went above and beyond to fix the issue. They quickly shipped a replacement. The communication was quick and very professional. I am very happy with the result. I love the way colorful light!It was beautiful when I first got it in April. I loved the way it lit up at night and having a digital reading of the water temperature was much better than trying to read the thermometer. In 5 months it no longer lights up at night and the screen doesn't show the temperature. Very disappointed it didn't last.

Stopped working after 2-1/2 months. Water penetrated solar cell and LCD display.1st unit was replace by the seller and the 2nd unit is working fine so I have changed to 5⭐️.I’m revising my review due to good customer service. They contacted me and told me I must have received a bad one and told me there was a one-year warranty. They shipped me a replacement. So I’m bumping it up to 4 stars for now and we’ll see if it’s more durable than the 1st one.

I have a thing for things that light up. We just set up a pool and purchased this thermometer. It floats, it is solar power so it lights up at night. The only thing it doesn't have is string to tie to the pool so it is right there at the edge to see the temp before jumping in. I had to purchase that in the hardware section. I dud see others on the store that has the string with it, that's why I'm mentioning it and gave it 4 stars.While I haven't had it long, I'll update if anything goes wrong as time passes.
