Ordered this lens a a birthday gift to myself, went out to go give it a try only going to do a couple passes just to give it a go however I was so shocked how clear it was and how good I could see my puddle I couldn’t stop laying em down. Not tryna glaze the product but it truly is the best auto darkening lens I’ve ever used or seen. I’ve seen other reviews about the battery going out but have yet for that to happen, even if it was a issue the bison on it is so good I can look past the couple of dollars I’ll spend on battery’s. Only tried tig welding so far in between 75amps and 125 and no flashes whatsoever. If your thinking about buying it I’d definitely give it a shot.

Probably the clearest auto lens made but it goes through batteries really fast and will time out between welds or days and it’s used daily 8 plus hours a day

Bought it in a pinch company had me start welding a bunch of structural for them and I’m a straight glass pipe welder. Shipping was quick and the different shades are helpful only thing I don’t like is welding near another welder it flashes when I can’t even see their arc but also a good thing I guess.

So far so good. Clear picture, easy access to the buttons to change shade and sensitivity and delay. Tested it out with stick, mig, and tig keeping my face leaned back from the weld area and the lense stayed on and didn't flicker on and off. I recommend this to anyone trying to figure out what lense to buy. Yes there are cheaper ones out there but I've seen issues with them. They lack the adjustability and some have no battery back up. Some don't darken during the TIG welding process. Plus the warranty is a nice bonus.

Most of my career I’ve used fixed shade, passive lenses but over the last few years I decided to give the 2x4 auto darkening lenses a try. I’ve used the Miller (offset sensors caused flickering, one was partially obscured by the lens housing also had a dark green tint), Lincoln 2x4C (very clear but variable shade was super thick and made it difficult to fit in most flip up style hoods and the fixed shades were limiting). The Clearview HD, however, has them all beat! I always stuck with fixed shade glass lenses because no auto lens could compete with the clarity. This one does! Super clear with the slightest hint of blue. Watch their set up guide video and using it is a breeze. Extremely versatile and never flickers. Even the passive grind shade is clear and barely tinted with that slight blue. It also feels more durable than any other ADF lens if used. The housing is stainless steel where all the others I’ve used have been plastic. All in all, I highly recommend this lens! You won’t be disappointed. Plus they throw in some cool stickers!
