I am an ice fisherman and these are the best for walking on glare ice without slipping. I had a similar pair that lasted for many years and expect these to as well.

Super easy to put on, even from a standing position wearing full outerwear. The rubber is stretchy enough to slide over bulky winter boots and rebounds back to a tight fit without excessive adjustment. The grip on glare ice is solid because of the spiked steel plates, and there is no worry about the chains getting packed with snow like a similar well known brand. They are light and compact easily for storage in the provided pouch.

I actually find these easier to put on and take off my shoes than pricier brands. I don’t need to use the Velcro straps and not sure who would need them. The spikes are durable and work just as well as the more expensive name brand ones - I will buy these again. I use them a LOT in the winter on snowy and icy terrain.

They seem sturdy and well made, they fit my 7.5 size shoes no problem. i haven’t had the opportunity to try them outdoors yet but will update as soon as I do.

Well made heavy duty ice spikes. Great for a winter hike or to walk the dog. Easy to stretch on to any shoe and came with a Velcro safety strap so they don’t fall off. Came in a nice heavy storage bag.

North Eastern Ohio with mad lake effect used these and they work great. Just get a size larger than expected. The strap does nothing though, far too short

In the past, I've always gotten Yak Trax and while they are generally good the plastic or rubber that holds the springs inevitably rubs up against a rock sticking out of the snow or ice and breaks. These have a much more solid construction and the traction on the bottom is more significant than the spring type thing that have been on all the Yak Trax I've used and broken in the past. These are a little more challenging to put on your shoes but once they are on there is no way they will fall off. The plastic/rubber is much more substantial and I think they will stand up to more abuse including any rocks that may stick out of the snow and ice while you are hiking around. They come with a nice little pouch to store them in as well.
