Works great, when it works. Outstanding warranty. Returned one and SOLAR sent me a new one, no questions asked. The problem is when it fails outside of warranty. Had two others. Both failed in less than two years. Was willing to pay to have repaired, but SOLAR doesn't offer a repair service. They told me to just buy new ones. If they won't last at least two years for almost $400/ea., then I'm going to have to look at other brands.

For the cost I would think the product should work straight out of the box. LED only lights up with a blank blue screen. I do not recommend this product

A GREAT PRICE AND WORKS GREAT. COULDN'T GET THE PAPER ROLL FOR THE PRINTER TO FEED THROUGH BUT HAD A LITTLE BIT SMALLER ROLL FOR MY CREDIT CARD PRINTER AND THAT WORKED FINE.

Excellent tool. Works much better and is much more informative than a low price battery tester that simply puts a resistive load on it. The best part of this, it will print out the report, two copies no less, so you can leave one with the client. I use it to test batteries on home standby generators so it has become an invaluable tool, as well as documentation on the condition of the clients battery.

Very good battery tester.Thermo paper for ease of replacement, no ink to replace.Reasonably accurate.Test a variety of battery types.Long lead, Some times too long to carry out systems test when battery in the rear etc.Diode ripple test reasonably accurate.This is our second one, the first one lasted 2.5 years.Our usage is at least 5+ batteries tests daily 5 days a week.load error occurred after failure.
