Assembling the rods in the order shown on the assembly directions was easy and achieved the required long length. The length was just what I needed to reach the third clothes rod near the ceiling. The handle is easy to grip. I’ve started hanging clothes with this clothes rod and it works!

Wish someone could make a way to hang a S hook!!!! You can’t with this but it come in handy to have.

This Christmas reaching hook is a lifesaver for hanging decorations and lights without pulling out a ladder. The telescoping design extends far, making it easy to reach high places. On the downside, if not locked properly, the pole might twist a little when fully extended. Also, it takes some practice to hook things just right. Super useful for shorties like myself who can't reach the top closet hangers. Straight out of the box, I had my doubts that it would be sturdy/quality, but it's actually pretty great. That said, I haven't had the need to use or extend it full length. But at its shortest length, it works perfectly.My complaints are 100% personal preference:- I despise the foam handle grips. For whatever reason, foam items from Amazon always smell super weird and it drives me crazy.- I wish it had interchangeable hooks like some other products on the market- I wish the shortest length was shorterAll of these "issues" are clearly shown in the listing had I paid enough attention, so I can't fault the product itself. Removed a star just because the longer extension rods seem pretty flimsy and because of the foam. (Ugh) But otherwise, it's a solid option.

I knew this was coming... I made something like it from an extension pole, a piece of metal, and a flag pole mount. It's really heavy, and it's just not quite right... (The 'hook' piece isn't shaped the best for my purpose). I use it o hang Christmas lights along the roof line. This works PERFECTLY for that purpose, and for many other uses. It is light, strong, adjustable length, and it comes apart to store easily!What more could you ask?!?GET ONE!

Our previous hooked reaching tool for closets and the pots / pans rack was MIA after we moved. This one is definitely an upgrade to the one we used to own. It's sturdy, has some parts of the pole that are easier to grip, and can be adjusted for length if you are a shorter person like I am. It also assembled very easily right out of the box. Very happy with the product quality and rate it at above average for sure.

I found the price of this to be a remarkable bargain, especially if you apply the 15% discount coupon. It's quite strong given its length and will hold a lot of weight which I appreciate. In fact, at an extension of 7 feet, it's difficult to even bend it a little. The materials are good enough at this price point - actually better than I expected - and I'm pleased with the design and ease with which it is assembled. I got a charge out of the TIP, which is almost incomprehensible (such are language translations even in this day), but the diagram for assembly gave good guidance. My current uses are for reaching bird feeders for refilling, and hanging curtains, but I plan to hang wiring with it as well.
