I sew a lot for Community Service Projects and am very impressed with the Red Clover Flower Head Pins.I like the firmness of the pins. They don't easily bend like the Blue Flower Head Pins do when sliding them into multiply layers of medium weight cotton fabric. And the bright red colored flower head is easy to see when I'm sewing or quilting as I use them as 'Placement Pins' to mark the beginning end when piecing strips, to mark a side of a block that is not quite square, and to mark the row I am currently tying knots in when quilting layered Bed Covers and Quilted Heart Pillows that I make for Hospice. I also use them as 'Stopping Pins' to show me where to stop sewing a seam and/or to stop at the end of a side seam because I need turn a corner to continue sewing the next side seam. I also use them for 'Holding Pins' when attaching the binding at the corners and connecting the beginning and end strips of binding on a project. These pins have been a great investment and have been a blessing as I sew for others.

Love the spins. Perfect for quilting and cutting with rotary cutter and rulers. You can lay the ruler on top of pinned fabric and it’s flat. The thinness also makes it easier when pinning cotton Fabric. I own about 100 of these pins

Best overall pins....and I should know considering how many different types I've tried. Sharp, thin, but not too flimsy. Flower head means lay will lay flat. I'm so glad I found these.

I've only had these for a few weeks, so I haven't tried them on a lot of different fabrics, but they are SO much easier for me to pick up, hold onto and manipulate than ball-headed pins. I have a tremor, so regular pins are pretty much useless to me: I can barely pick one up, much less tell it where to go. These on the other hand are no problem. And they're longer (just over 1 1/2", not including the head) than all the other pins I have, which I also like. And so pretty!

I love the length, strength, and fine point of these pins. They're my "go to" pin when piecing quilt tops. Plus, as a Longarm Quilter, these are my pins of choice for pinning the quilt back to fabric leaders on the long arm frame. They're both sharp enough and long enough to easily insert the pins and remove them from the leaders. Although they may seem expensive at first, having the right tool for the job makes them worth the cost.

I always love pins from Clover, in fact, I don't use other company's pins in US. (I am from Japan) I am used to the pins that are smooth and go into the fabric without any effort and unfortunately most pins I can buy here do not qualify. The pins from Clover are the only pins (in US) that I can also use my magnetic pin cushion since they attach strong. (the other pins fall off if you try to attach more than 10 or so)So I already love Clover's pins for the quality I wanted to get more pins. I ordered this set, believing it will be in the colors the seller described (yellow, green, white and pink) but I was wrong. I received one color with different tones (pink and red). So, if the color had been correct, I would have given it 7 stars, but the minus 1 star is for the seller's mistake.

I have used these pins for years for quilting. They are flat so the machine goes right over them. They are long so they will hold a larger area together. They are also one of the sharpest pins that I have ever used. They are expensive, but worth every penny. I have tried other brands of this type of pin and been very disappointed. Clover is the only one I have found that lives up to the description.
