These scissors are sharp, remain sharp, and are excellent craft scissors. I use fabrics and yarns and avoid paper and plastic with these. But stuff happens. They pretty much take a beating and still come out as good craft scissors. You will like them.

Excellent for cutting wool, doesn’t ravel the edges!

This is the 2nd pair I have bought because I love them so much. Even though it doesn't look like it, the blades are mildly serrated so it grips whatever you are cutting and doesn't allow it to slip. I sew a lot but I also use them to trim the fine hair of the eyebrow on my dog.

I've been testing assorted scissors to include in sewing kits for my grandkids. I bought a pair of these to try and I'm pleasantly impressed. They are comfortable to use and have given good clean cuts on fabrics from silk to denim (I haven't tested heavy canvas or leather yet). The protective case is a bonus. I like them so well for my purpose that I'll be buying several pairs.

Great scissors that have the blades that grip the fabric. Very sharp too. I like them for cutting applique fabric.

These worked exactly as represented. I will buy a longer pair in the future but these are great for my current project.

I like how these grip fabric as you cut but they are not my favorite pair. I still love my Ghinger scissors best.

Best scissors for appliqué ever (or cutting single layers of fabric)! The serrations prevent the fabric from sliding so you get an accurate cut (or at least a cut where you make it, hopefully accurately). If you have been taught to place the lower blade where you want the cut or the left edge of the top blade rather than looking at a random place on the top blade, you will get perfect cuts every time. When scissors do not cut "to the point" it is because the fabric slips during the cut. You will always get cuts "to the point" with these (again, assuming you are accurate). The handles are comfortable and do not slip in my hands. I had forgotten how well these work until I was in a workshop recently without them - it was a nightmare trying to get accurate cuts. I now have three collections of three sizes of Clover serrated scissors - one for quilting room, living room, and travel/class bag. I am unable to recommend one size over the other as I have and use a 4 1/2, 5 1/2, and 6 3/4. I think there might be a larger serrated size (at that point I would use a rotary cutter) as well as a new version, but these work for all my appliqué needs.
