Håller inte fast tyget ordentligt. Bra idé men behöver förbättras...

Does not hold the fabric tightly and is kind of bulky.

The clover embroidery hoop is great!!! It’s got a strong hold on the fabric and stays taught for quite awhile. Much better than the old fashion wood hoops plus you don’t have the splinters to catch your fabric on. I like that the tightening nob is inside and not sticking out to catch on my fabric. If they had a larger one I would buy it but they don’t have one. Great product that will last a long time.

Very sturdy and easy to use for counted cross stitch. The lip on the edge of the inner ring really helps keep the tension on the fabric while stitching. I also love that it doesn't catch my thread on the mechanism. I'm thinking of getting the larger one 7" as I will be trying some other types of embroidery soon where it might be nice not to move the hoop around the fabric as often.

This is so much better than I expected! Clover products often surprise me, but this is so well designed. The outer hoop is reversible, which would be a problem, except that they have thought of that and put instructions on both sides showing which way to turn the screw mechanism. Just brilliant, and it means you don't have to fiddle around getting it all the right way round.I usually check that the inner ring is th right way up, and slip that underneath my work, and into position. (It has a lip on one side, on the outside of the ring.) Once the inner ring is in the best position I can quickly slip the outer one over the work without even looking at it, only looking at the instructions, near the screw mechanism, once I am happy with the placement. The instructions then tell me plainly to turn the screw either for open or close. The screw mechanism is easy to turn, and satisfyingly neat in the product, and unlikely to snag on your thread.Yay Clover!

I have at least 4 of these hoops and recommend it to everyone. The smaller size is great for arthritic hands to hold and turn. The thread never gets caught with the built in tightener. Holds your muslin taut. I currently run an embroidery class for seniors and they love this hoop. This is also the best price you will find for this product anywhere.

My grandmother taught me to embroider when I was a child, so that with more than a half century of experience with needlecrafts I know when a hoop works well. This is a good design. The screw that controls the tension is easy to turn and provides fingertip control over the hoop. The fabric is held tightly with no slippage. I can recommend this hoop to beginners and masters alike.

I've been using wooden frames for stitching projects every since I started stitching years ago. I became used to the annoyance of the slipping frames, the loose canvas, and the splintering wood. Finally, I got frustrated enough to try this plastic frame. This new type of frame was a revelation to me! The screw mechanism is easy to use and does not snag on threads. Even better, the frame never slips once it is tightened in place. The interlocking plastic rings allow for a very tight stretch to the canvas, which makes stitching so much easier. I highly recommend this product.

I REALLY like this hoop a lot. I have it in 4" and 7" sizes. I'm embroidering silk, so it's import for there not to be anything for the fabric or thread to catch on. The plastic is smooth, with no rough plastic seams. I really like the covered screw for tightening, it's easy to use and never gets in the way of my thread. The ONLY reason I docked a star is probably my fault. When I removed one of my pieces of silk, the threads in the fabric had puled and separated. I'm learning that there are other techniques to use when placing the fabric in the hoop, that keep the fabric taut, but avoid this kind of wear (like wrapping the two hoops in strips of cotton, or winding masking tape around both hoops, or using tissue paper between the fabric and the hoop).I've been generally pleased with embroidery tools from Clover.
