I had thought Cloyes was a good brand, but when I received my timing kit, it was missing a timing chain. Amazon replaced it promptly, but the second kit had two right tensioner guide and no left guide. I ended up getting the left guide elsewhere so I could put my truck back together, but I am deeply disappointed.

Everything was as described. The only problem I ran across was one of the chain guide mounting bolt holes needed a longer bolt. This was designed to make the chain guide stronger than the factory one I was replacing, so I didn't mind the minor incovience of going to the hardware store.

Bought this for a 2001 5.4 I needed to rebuild. Very good price and product and would recommend buying it here because other parts stores charge twice this. Go Amazon.

Buy this set with confidence, it is a perfect fit for my 2000 5.4L Expedition. The timing chain guides are thicker than the OEM guides that are on the truck, so you will need a bolt from the dealer for the upper right guide. The oem guides are also now made thicker, and the dealership knew exactly what bolt I needed.
