An anti-siphon valve is an essential irrigation part that should not be left off your shopping list!
Please keep in mind that Anti-Siphon valves should always be installed at least 6 in. above the highest head on the valve line, and should never have another valve installed further down the line from the main valve.
This is not an electric control valve, this valve should be between the water supply and your sprinkler valve manifold.
After installation and before startup, always the flush system of dirt and debris manually using the valve's external bleed-screw.
