Been just a little over a year since installation, it just went on the fritz, can't reset, clock and station functions work, but it will not activate the sprinkler system even after following rest instructions etc. Now need to bring our a specialists to troubleshoot. Somewhat the same issue with the previous (same) model, except it lasted ten years. Must be a faulty issue with this model?

My original unit lasted about 40 years and I expect to get the same performance from the replacement unit. There were no changes to the instructions and operation. Delivery was super fast which was helpful during the heat wave.

Other than the image used on Amazon, which is clearly an out of the box, used unit, the one I received was brand new in the box and with the exception of an extra set of wires not in my 20 year old unit, it perfectly replaced the old unit, right up to and including the mounting holes. The local plumbing supply house had this same unit at 3x the cost. Would love to support them but it's not like these things are cheap.

Good product, easy to use and program. My second Irritrol Controller. The first one made it 14 years, still worked, but was having issues in manual mode. I’m no tech geek but I replaced it myself by taking photo and copied the wiring to match. Works great

I already had the same model that was installed with my original landscape about 10 years ago. Since I was used to the features of the old one (which had buttons and features that were now failing) and liked the way it operated, I ordered the same model as a replacement. I intended to just swap out the component portion and pop it into the old box. HOWEVER, beware, they changed the ribbon connecter so it won't fit! You have to change out the entire box (and rewire it). Fortunately, I got some help on this, or it would have been a very daunting task (even for a fairly handy guy). It's wonderful to have a fully functioning controller again! The timer, semi auto, and manual operations all work perfectly.
