Yes!!! These are the perfect size to make paper weights without needing to add extra weight/materials to the resin. I needed several paper weights to hold down stacks of posters and paper sheets that I have on my table while doing weekly boothing at the farmers market. It's always windy for the first couple of hours and I wanted weights that could reliably hold down the paper without obscuring them. I already had some jugs of 2-part epoxy resin, so I got this silicone mold of 4-inch circles. The paper weights came out great - their broad diameter size plus enough epoxy to make them 0.5-0.75 inches thick make them heavy enough to keep my papers down without being TOO heavy. It'll be fun to make other things with these mills. The circles came out of the mold super easily without needing any sort of release spray.

Even though these were intended as molds for coasters, I've been using them to create display peices of things I sell at reptile shows. For example, I breed and sell isopods for clean up crews in bioactive enclosures and if I happen to find a isopod that has passed and Imable to remove it before the springtails or other isopods start taking care of it, I can remove it and put it in resin to show people what the isopods look like without having to do too much to disturb my colony. I've also been able to help others use it to create education peices, like when a snake sheds its skin, I've been able to put it in resin so vendors can help educate their clients. So I appreciate that they can be versatile. I'd like to find some the same shape but a smaller size.I haven't had any issues with the mold tearing or not holding up after repeated use.

Excellent resin mold! I have been wanting to try creating with resin for over a year & even bought a resin kit during the last Prime Days. However, I didn't think about molds & my research only made me more confused. Recently, I signed up to take a series of courses of a week that focus on the use of Cricut cutting machine projects. In the list of courses, there is a class creating adorable looking resin coasters & adding items cut with a Cricut machine. So, it was time to jump in! I ordered my products. These resin molds were recommended so I ordered them. I am super pleased at how thick the silicon is compared to other molds I've purchased over the past year. I am also impressed by how deep these molds are -- they are going to make amazing, sturdy coasters that will be wonderful to use & show off in my home. I'm super excited about learning to use resin & with being able to do so with these molds. Now, hoping I do everything else right in the class. Most definitely, the molds will NOT be an issue! Highly recommend & will purchase more if my coasters end up being popular & I add them to my craft business product line.

Think I now have everything necessary for my first attempt at embedding items in epoxy resin. Just need to read up on best practices to use with various materials. The 4" openings in this mold will enable me to produce items with practical uses such as coasters and paperweights as well as decorative items and commemorative items. My thought is to read up on how to prepare certain items and then devote each opening to a particular kind of item as a test of what works well. So far, I have decided on small polished gemstones in one opening, foreign coins in another, dried grasses from my garden/pasture. Don't know enough about the procedure yet to render an opinion on the thickness of this mold, its flexibility and durability. I ordered it based on a diameter which would afford me the most utility.

Both mold I bought tore the first time they were used. I sprayed mold release prior to using and they still tore.

These molds were very thin, and the resin stuck in them on the first use. UPDATE: They replaced the mold free of charge, and the new one has met expectations. I appreciate the depth of the mold, as well as the different shapes and multiple mold in one.
