Looks great, just the control for the flame size is garbage. You turn it up a touch and you have a flamethrower. Turn it down a touch and you barely have a bic. No in between

Everything is great, the actual thing is exactly like displayed in the pictures! Love the lock button, flame strength and flame type adjusterโฆ. Definitely a step up from my previous torch that broke but that was a really old one, there werenโt that many options for retail kitchen torches in the marketplace then.Iโve been playing around with the torch the past week. Everything works well and it feels durable + sturdy but I wonโt know until Iโve used it for โyearsโ so hopefully this lasts for a couple of years. One minor complain would be the gas refill bit; so I canโt tell how much gas is left (equally I donโt know when Iโve fully filled it) and also the gas compartment is a tad small.. it could be 1/3 or 1/4 bigger than what it is, that would have been perfect!1st edit: This torch is really close to perfect EXCEPT it really needs a bigger gas compartment. A correction from what I felt after the first week, this definitely should have a 1/3 or 1/2 bigger sized gas compartment unless solely used for lighting cigars. For other uses like in the workshop, kitchen, fireplace etcโฆ itโs really a tad small.

As soon as my husband opened the box and saw this torch, he picked it up and said "I'm the man with the golden gun!" I have to admit this cooking torch looks very special and fabulous. I think James Bond would love to own one of these!In addition to its golden allure, this cooking torch is a pleasure to cook with. It's easy to fill with canned butane. Once filled, just press the "trigger" and the flame automatically lights. Let go of the trigger and the flame turns off. If you need the flame to stay on for a period of time, use the continuous flame button to keep the flame going without having to press down on the trigger. There are also buttons for controlling the length and strength of the flame.Overall this little cooking torch works great and looks very special. I had never used one of these before, and I am really pleased with how easy it is to fill and operate. It's a great addition to any kitchen. It's packaged in a nice box, so it also is ready for gift-giving. A "golden gun" is certainly an impressive gift. James Bond would approve.
