I love the look of stained glass but am not up for soldering. This item is the perfect solution. It looks good, very uniform, and is easy to apply. It also seems to adhere to more than just glass -- on a whim, I used it plus mosaic glass bits on a clear vinyl sheet and ended up with a dream catcher that can be hung from a fairly light duty hook. I've also used it to make glass mosaic coasters. I recommend it!

This product is exactly what I needed to give my windows and glass doors a professional, stained glass look without the hassle and expense of traditional lead came.The box is very generous at 180 feet, which gave me plenty of material to work with for multiple projects. The self-adhesive backing is strong and reliable but also allows for repositioning if needed during application—super forgiving for someone like me who loves DIY but isn’t a pro! While I haven’t used these for the intended project, I believe that they will work great. I want to use them for a faux stained glass project using glass paint, and so far my test projects have been ok. I’m going to have to figure out something different for the more intricate parts of my design, due to this product being a bit too thick for the tiny parts of the overall design. Overall this product is easy to use, easy to bend / manipulate into place and so far the adhesive has held up well. Be sure to make all your bends, curves etc before you take the backing off of the adhesive, because it doesn’t stick as well if you have to pick it off to move it and re-stick it. Could probably use some sort of double sided tape if you need to but it would need to be cut to fit. Definitely a good value, in my opinion. Also: I don’t know anything about stained glass products so please keep that in mind.

I decided last Christmas that I wanted to make my front window look like a stained glass panel. I bought lots of those removable window gels and planned to arrange them like stained glass. Only problem was I couldn't come up with a solution for removable stained glass window came. Then, I saw this and it's perfect. Its exactly what I need!The box come with 15 12 inch x 1 1/2 inch sheets of came strands. Each sheet has 12 strands that can be cut and shaped to form the outline. It is removable adhesive on one side and it removes completely and cleanly by just peeling with your finger tips.Of course I haven't made my creation just yet but I'm confident it will work perfectly.

I'm new to painting on glass / stained glass look, and thought I'd try these. Mixed results. Work well most of the time. Be sure to push down and let the adhesive set against the glass. Curves are possible but don't overdo. Too much of a curve or too small a piece with a curve and the adhesive might slip when the paint is applied. Used carefully, they're great - nice heavy "lead" lines with smooth even edges.

The adhesive on them is excellent without being so sticky that I can't make adjustments. I used some to enhance a glass front cabinet door and the result is quite nice considering I'm no stained glass professional. I still have plenty left for other projects and now that I know how easy it is to create something cool with them, I think I'll be using them more often. I would say the value is pretty good because they give you more than other packs do in the same price range.
