I wanted to like this item, but bad execution. It hums (high frequency noise). The on/off button is on the bottom of the thing (it should be on the side, and it should be a rocker switch). It doesn't turn on automatically even when you click the front screen. And the on/off sometimes doesn't even work!

Very easy to use and build quality is great. It’s a portable one so easy to carry along. Cleaning is super easy.

This is a great product if you are into coffee and espresso making. It saves a step in your workflow by measuring the output of your grinder as it grinds your coffee, especially if you single dose. You see immediately how much retention your grinder has without having to weigh the dose on a separate scale. I just wish they had extended the auto-off period. It’s too short for me.

As soon as I switch this on after unpacking I can hear a high pitched humming almost out of register. The product feel nice and is accurate from my tests though.

Most coffeegeeks know that weight is more consistent than volume for measuring your dose of coffee beans. (You *are* grinding whole beans with a good grinder, right?) Combining a dosing cup with a scale is a cool idea. But in practice, it doesn't improve workflow. For one thing, this dosing-cup-with-scale is finicky: it's easy to accidentally tap the tare control. For another, you lose the flexibility of using the scale to weigh stuff besides coffee beans, or control pourover/espresso extractions.Get separate dosing cup and 0.1g accuracy scale (with timer). You'll appreciate the added functionality.Edit: After reading my review, a Ubyyddo representative reached out and sent me another unit for evaluation. In response to such excellent support, I am bumping up my rating by one star. The dosing cup scale functions as expected, weighs coffee beans quickly and accurately, and does what it purports to do. However, I stand by my original comments.

I was unsure about this thing, but for the price and the fact that I could return it, I thought I would give it a try...and I'm glad I did. I have a Breville Oracle Touch and a Baratza Encore ES. It's simple and does exactly what I want it to do, but what I like best is that I can grind directly into the dosing cup from my Encore ES. It does make a bit of a mess, but worth it. I have no idea how long it will last, but for the price, it seems worth it.
