If you ride SS MTB, a lot, then you know your chain will slip, break, and maybe break you :)Once I switched to this cog i have yet to have serious chain issues. The narrow wide teeth are key. If you don't think you need narrow wide on a rear SS cog, then you just aren't pedaling hard or fast enough, or riding SS a lot.I run this on a Chameleon C with a Wolftooth CAMO front chain ring. I also highly recommend that chain ring setup b/c its super strong and is a lot less likely to bend. Order the stainless steel ring for the CAMO.Chain wise I recommend a KMC X8 chain. Very strong.
