Might be a defective item... not happy at all...I got this to remove the cog on my Gates drive bicycle, Priority 600. And the plastic part snapped and flew off hurting my hand. Tool is broken now on first use.I was using this it exacly as shown on the Gates YT channel manual, following instructions to a T. Aslo had the proper Pinion lockring removal took. I was loosening, not tightening) the lockring so the torque could not exceed appropriate measure.See photo attached. I will ask the supplier for a refund, this may be a defective unit, as Gates is generally well respected for their quality.
