It does what it is intended to do. The wheel that measures out the candy is plastic and not adjustable so you either have to use small size candy or not expect very many pieces for each quarter. My grand kids love being able to do little things to earn quarters to use to get a treat and I don't have to worry about them eating to much at a time.
