These test strips are a must-have for anyone maintaining a cold plunge with hydrogen peroxide-based cleaners. I use them to ensure my plunge’s H₂O₂ levels stay balanced and safe for my skin. They’re easy to use, give quick readings, and offer peace of mind that I’m not over- or under-treating the water. I highly recommend them for anyone using peroxide instead of chlorine—they're skin-friendly and stress-saving!

These do detect hydrogen peroxide levels, and the last two color patches are supposed to indicate the just right levels. But there aren't any patches above that, so there is no way if the hydrogen peroxide levels are above that, which I didn't even think about at the time I ordered these. Likely not a problem at low levels, though.

I run hydrogen peroxide in some of my hydroponic tomato buckets, especially in the summer when temperatures rise and root rot is more likely. You have to add more h2o2 at least once or twice a week in my experience. More with weaker h2o2. but I’m always guessing as to what levels are left in the water. It’s nice to have a way to actually measure it now.The colors for the different ppm levels are easy enough to differentiate between. I do wish there was a bit more nuance to the scale. It’s color scale reads 1 ppm, 3 ppm, 10ppm, 30ppm and 100ppm. So it’s kind of a big jump from 30 to 100. Having more shades of color would probably make it more difficult to read though.Overall I’m happy with my order and would order again.

I have have had a 10,000 gallon above-ground pool that I have maintained with various brands of biguanide-based products for about 20 years. These products use a hydrogen peroxide solution for shocking rather than the chlorine or bromine products used in more conventional pool and spa maintenance. Our main pool and spa supply store in town is basically unfamiliar with maintenance involving these types of products and I usually get blank stares when I ask for anything having to do with maintaining proper hydrogen peroxide levels in my pool. So I have taken to ordering hydrogen peroxide test strips online for my pool. The problem with other peroxide test strips I have ordered in the past is that they are rather generic in their application and don't have very good color discernment in the ideal range for proper pool and spa maintenance concentrations. These strips are designed specifically for reading peroxide levels in pools and spas, and the ideal range is clearly marked on the color chart on the bottle. Also, there are are 100 strips that are labeled to be good until sometime in 2027, so I am set for the next couple of years. There is a QR code on the bottle that is supposed to take you to a dosing calculator, but I couldn't get that to work on my phone. I don't need that for my purposes though. This product is something I really needed at a very reasonable price. This will be my go-to for the next time I need to order another set of test strips. Highly recommend!!
