This coffee maker broke (i.e., the plastic parts separated and would not go back together) after only 1 week of use. I bought one of these a year ago and it also broke in the same place after only using it a few times.

as mentioned from other users, there is a lever that you must ensure is sticking-out when you close the filter, so that when you place the pot underneath, the coffee will freeflow. um, also make sure you use the correct coffee... I accidentally ordered instant coffee and it completely dissolved... I thought my first batch was full of grounds... oh, and the unit must be on level-ground for the liquid to pour into the pot.
