These magnetic trays are awesome for using while working on any project where you are removing screws, small pieces, etc. The magnetic bottom holds your hardware secure in the bottom and the collapsible sides are tall to keep any items from rolling out of the trays. The tray will magnetize to a fender, engine bay, etc. I do have other trays that have stronger magnets however I haven't ran in to an issue yet where these trays aren't strong enough.

I really like these collapsible magnetic parts trays. I like that they come in a 3 pack of different sizes and that they are collapsible. But, they collapse a little too easily in my opinion. Also, the magnetic strength isn’t the strongest but it’s okay. They work well and have plenty of room to hold various parts. I wish they had other colors to choose from though.

I really liked using these. They are great for keeping your bolts/screws/etc together and keep them from getting lost. The magnet works well and keeps items in place. Since they are collapsible it makes them easy to store when not in use.

I love that the magnetic sheets are removable. This product is especially helpful when working on my vehicles.

The version of this tray set that I had ordered came with 3 individual trays, each one a different size. The largest of them is a satisfactory large size which can easily fit the other 2 sitting flat on the tray. The mid-sized one is still reasonably sized, but the smallest one is rather small. Still, the 3 size variations is a good thing, as not every task involving bolts and nails etc truely requires a noteably larger tray. The materials these trays are made from appears to me to be 3 main components. The tray rims seem to be a type of plastic commonly used as tool trim or bucket rims, etc. There doesn't seem to be anything noticeably special about these particular rims. The floor of the trays are made with magnets, although it also seems to me that they might have a protective coating of some kind. Maybe. Either way, they are very strong. All but the heaviest of metal pieces should have no problem clinging to the bottoms of these trays. Assuming, of course, that they are in close enough contact to the tray bottom, and that they are indeed made of magnetic metal. These trays will stick easily and strongly to each other, as well, which can be useful for storage. It does require a fair amount of effort to pull them apart. And then, the tray walls are made from a type of silicone, which has a smooth texture and rubbery feel to it. The walls are about as thick as is common for such items. They are extendable and collapsable, as the user desires. They do require noticeable effort to pull the walls up to extend them. They have remained reasonably sturdy when extended, taking noteable effort to press down and collapse them. Clearly, though, durable as they may be, users should still do so with reasonable care, as they are not indestructable. These magnetic tool trays do so far appear to be of good quality, as they generally seem strong and durable enough. They have not as of yet cracked, weakened, buckled, or ripped, which is always good. With proper use and care, I do expect these to function well, and to last a long time.5 out of 5 stars.

Product is better than nothing but there are significantly better products for same price out there. The weight of the plates is too much for the magnets so I would recommend not placing on a vertical surface. Additionally the magnetic plat for your bolts/screws is only strong enough to keep them generally in the same spot but I can almost guarantee that they move around if the plate is moved in any way

Like a lot of people that take things apart, I keep losing the screws. either they fly off the table, or end up rolling around somewhere. So in comes this magnetic tray(s) to assist in keeping them in one place. Here is the rundown:1. Rubber/Silicone material. Making it soft and non marking if you put it somewhere that might be scratched.2, Easily collapsible for flat storage in bag or tool box.3. Came in 3 sizes to give you options on how much you need to keep secured.4. Both inside and out are magnetic and still to metal surfaces. However, they are weaker than I would have liked. When tested on some metal (sideways) it will hang for a sec and then fall under its own weight. So it does work right side up and does keep the screws and such in place.I am glad I got this, only wish the magnets were a bit stronger on both sides. Other than that, I am happy with it.
