My old standard bulbs took a crap and I figured let’s give these a try after a recommendation from my pool guy. Colors are vibrant and bright and really makes the pool stand out.

Bulb purportedly came with a 5 year warranty. It stopped working after 8 months. When removed from the housing there was an audible rattle inside, like when filament would burn out in an incandescent bulb. Reached out to customer service via the email provided with the shipment to make a warranty claim. Never received a response.

light does what it is supposed to do and really highlights the pool well. Dies not have a remote, changes colors with the wall switch. We would have quickly lost a remote so I was not interested in that feature. Light went in very easy. Kit does not come with a new seal so you need to order one separately. We bought one at the pool store since I forgot. Price was much lower than pool store and pool guy said it looked good and should last 10 years. I did not take a photo of every color. We like the green and blue and will probably only use them but other colors did work

So far so good - I like the blue the best. Installed in May 2023 and now August, no problems. I did replace the gasket too

When we bought our house, we couldn't find any way to turn on the pool light, but looking at it, the light was half full of salt water. So, that set me off on a quest to get it working again. I pulled the light, split it open, and found the bulb was long gone and a seal that had to be at least 20 years old. Obviously, the light was original to the pool when it was built. After tracing the underground wires, installing a new 102volt to 12v transformer, finding/re-wiring the switch, and bringing everything up to current day code, I needed a bulb for it. I found this bulb and it seemed like a good option since it was LED (requiring less wattage while being brighter) and was capable of multiple colors.The bulb is ready straight out of the box and just required to screw it into the socket, install the new seal, and put the light housing back together. I took a dip and re-installed the light into the pool wall, then waited for evening. Being the time of year it is, I had to wait until past 9pm for it to be completely dark, but when I flipped the switch - Wow, did it light up the pool. I had switched the transformer instead of the line (why run the transformer all the time), so it was a major pain the switch it on and off to get a color I wanted. Why the remote only comes with the 120 volt version is beyond me.Our pool is about 22,000 gallons, with the light in the shallow end (about 2/3s the pool), and this light illuminates it well. The picture I included shows the pool with the blue light, which is my preference, but the white light lit it probably 20% brighter. The light performs well and is worth the money if you don't mind doing the switch flip method to change the color.

I mistakenly ordered these thinking they were 12v DC to use as a fishing light but they’re actually 12v AC which is wholly incompatible with my intended purpose. It’s possible to use a converter and step the power down but that’s more complicated and failure prone than I’m prepared to do for a fishing light that would be used underwater. I’m unable to provide a full review which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 or 5. It wouldn’t be fair to the seller. Just be aware about the power requirements.

Installed this light this afternoon, waited until evening to run the menu of light options. Very impressed with how bright this bulb is, the light is in the middle of the pool which is 30 by 15. Other than red the pool is completely lighted.
