I guess I get the patio kind, but never thought of carrying one.I guess it's a parasol?Color me flabbergasted that after a hundred years, parasols might be coming back into fashion. But if they are, this wouldn't be a bad thing to have above your head. The pattern is exceptionally pretty. It's light weight. It's lined with black fabric, which I guess blocks sun. It opens easily at the touch of a button. It took me a moment to figure out how to close it, but once I did, it closed easily. It has a nice zippered cover that is quite snug. It could probably double as a rain umbrella as well.This might be nice to have while walking my dog. I think I like it.

This is more than an umbrella -- it's a parasol. The black lining blocks the sun so you can be in the shade anywhere. But the outer fabric is another story -- it's floral and lovely and makes you think of spring. The pop-up button works well both for opening and closing. This is a great summer umbrella/parasol. I recommend it.

This umbrella is easy to use, light weight, and has a pretty design. It is very durable and works well to protect to you from the rain. It is made of quality material and strong enough to withstand strong winds. Overall, it does the job, but I wish it was a little larger for 2 individuals vs only 1 person could fit under this umbrella.

The design on the purple-flowered umbrella is beautiful and the open/close button makes using it very easy. I just got it so I can't speak to its durability yet but I liked the look of it so much, I ordered a second one.

So pretty..!! This is a great umbrella. It’s very easy to operate and really protects from the rain. It’s large enough to sit in a chair and still be protected but not so heavy that’s it’s a burden to carry. It’s my favorite umbrella.
