Your cart is empty.Art Spectrum''''s Colourfix Pastel Paper- Deep Black...The response to this pastel paper has been phenomenal. Colourfix has a beautifully textured sanded surface. The Colourfix surface is extremely receptive to all pastels and holds layers and layers of color. Sheets are 20 x 28 and are available in 16 fantastic colors. Colourfix papers are sheets of 140lb acid free hot press paper that has been screen printed with Colourfix primer. The primer is acrylic based; so Colourfix can be used with watercolor acrylic and oil washes before you apply your pastel. It is also excellent for charcoal and pastels.Colorfix Deep Black is a very dark warm black.

It's the correct size however not close to an all black poster. I think this should have been one of the most non complicated orders; yet it became a nightmare trying to return and contacting customer service.

Good quality paper, fairly quick shipping, okay price. My only complaint is that it was shipped rolled up in a tube, so I do have to work to get it to be completely flat. Other than that, lovely paper!

I liked this Colourfix Sanded Pastel Paper until I tried to tape it down to my drawing board. It was sent to me rolled in a cardboard container so I had to afix it to my drawing board with tape to smooth it out. When I tried to lift the tape, it tore the surface of the sanded paper off and left the white paper underneath. Luckily that part was out of the margins of my drawing but I would warn people to flatten it some other way than using tape. Maybe just put it under heavy books for a few days until it flattens naturally.

We were unable to find this particular paper at any of the local art stores. We are pleased that we found it on Amazon and can recommend it to other artists.

Good size texture and finish. Wish I could post a pic of the finished pastel work I did on this paper, it really held the layers of color and still allowed for plenty of blending and detail. Loved it!
