I ordered these to replace the wheels on an older chair. I easily removed the old wheels and inserted these wheels. Super easy to install, and they roll great on my hardwood floor. They are well-made and much better than my old standard chair wheels. These are rubber and glide much quieter across the floor. I also rolled the chair across my carpeted area, and it rolled almost as freely as it does on my hardwood floor.

The wheels that came with my chair were garbage. I couldn't roll smoothly if at all. I got these to replace them. I might as well be on roller blades. They roll smoothly, and now I realize that my floor is uneven because it rolls to one side, but I will take that instead of being unable to move. No squeaking or scratching the floor.

I received this item free as an Amazon Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only review items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review.I love these wheels. I had issues with the black hard plastic factory wheels on my office chair leaving black marks on the sealed concrete floor. I did a bit of research and read that this type of rubber wheel does not leave marks on the floor. They arrived neatly packaged (pictured) and were easy to install. The factory wheels pulled out of the base and these rubber wheels snapped right in their place. They fit snug, but a good push got them seated.They roll so much smoothly than the factory wheels and best of all, no more black marks on the concrete (pictured). I am going to put these on all my office chairs!As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, I would buy these.

I got these to replace the current wheels on my gaming chair. I have heard a lot of good things about these wheels. I also like the nostalgia of in-line skate wheels being on my chair. We have hardwood floors and pets so I needed something that would cruise across the floor and not get bogged down with pet fur or my long hair. These wheels are AMAZING! They are a smooth glide across the floor. I have even rolled over cords my kids leave out, dog toys, and I had little to no problems. The only issue I have not, is that the wheels move so smoothly on my old, uneven hardwood floors that they tend to drift my chair away from my desk when I do not want to move. I have had to gently kick the wheels in different directions to ensure my chair cannot easily drift away. The good news is, even when I do this, and then decide to move, there is no fighting with the chair, it just easily moves in the direction I push it to go in.

I got them to use on an office chair my sister uses in her home office. She actually gave up on using the chair, as it destroyed the plastic carpet mat. The carpet is thickly padded, and only a hard under desk mat would help.At first, she didn't realize how easy it is to replace casters: just pull out the old, push in the new.Now her ergonomic chair is usable again. Of course, these wheels will work fine on hard floors, too; but they are a game changer on padded carpet.

Want to slide across the floor like riding across glass? Get these. I am so happy with how smooth my chair glides now. It also has stopped the marking up on floor. These are so smooth and roll so well they dont mark scratch the floor at all. I was really surprised how easy it was to change out the wheels too. Just yank the old ones off and shove these new ones in their place.
