I originally had the clear soft rollerblade style single wheels you see everywhere on here. They were okay for hardwood but once I got an area rug for under my desk they became a problem. They were hard to move around and would stay stuck and dug into the rug, I did not want to get a chair mat. I researched and learned that large hard wheels + the dual wheel style were more appropriate for carpets, especially medium pile.I settled on these, and the second I put them on they were immediately better. Moving around is effortless now. They are have a tiny bit of a sound when moving, but for the price I can live with that.

The pandemic has me working from home and my office chair was scraping the carpet and ripping it up. I needed bigger wheels for more clearance on my carpet. These wheels were EXACTLY what I needed. Installed easy, rolls on carpet just fine.

Was looking for replacement casters for my HM Aeron and couldn't seem to find a set that would work on my carpet until I found these. The 4" casters were like $70 but I decided to save some money and give these a shot and they work perfectly. I can finally roll smoothly on my short carpet, if this is why you need new casters, these are a great option for the price.

They do what they say they will do. They look good and I was able to easily and quickly swap them out on my chair. But just rolling the chair around the room even when I am not in it, the wheels are loud and make scratching and creaking sounds. Guess I shouldn't be surprised at this price. Sending these back.

Got a new office chair with standard sized wheels, it would not roll on the carpet without great struggle. These wheels completely fixed that issue, and they've held up just fine for a few months now.

Received the wheels and put them on. Instantly I could hear plastic on plastic scraping somewhere. I check today and one of the wheels has come off the center pin that holds it in the main piece. It appears to be warped on the piece that grasps the pin so it rotates crooked which is why it was plastic scraping plastic.I've taken them off and put my older smaller broken wheels back on. They work better than this crap.
