I brought this ice maker to our shop, and it’s been an absolute workhorse. The crew uses it constantly throughout the day—filling coolers, drink bottles, even making ice packs. What impressed me most was the two water input options. Since we don’t have a dedicated water line in the garage, the top-loading jug setup is a lifesaver. That said, I do wish the machine had a built-in way to recycle the melted ice water. Right now, I have to manually drain it into another jug and place it back on top—not a deal-breaker, but definitely an area for improvement. The unit makes solid, dense cubes quickly—perfect for keeping things cold longer, and they break apart easily once in the bin. I also really like the ability to adjust ice thickness and schedule production with the 24-hour timer. It's not a freezer, so transferring the ice into a proper cooler or fridge is a must if you want to store it for later. But for regular, high-volume daily use, this machine handles the job without flinching. It's surprisingly compact for what it does and fits well even in a utility space like ours.

Life saver. We had a pool party last night and this thing puts out the ice fast. We understood before buying this is not a freezer. You have to use the ice, you can't just let it linger. This is not something you're gonna buy to make ice, and it's just going to stay frozen until you need it. This is when you have a lot of people and you need a lot of ice right now. This solves the problem of having ice melting in a cooler. This is a game changer for us. Works perfect. Go buy a water bottle, set it on top and be done. You can use it anywhere.

This ice maker is very convenient if you regularly need large amounts of ice. This icemaker is for when you need a larger volume of ice for entertainment or travel.Likewise it would be great in a small business that frequently requires ice cubes. This ice maker can produce as much as 100 lbs (45 kg) of ice in a day.It produces a tray of ice every 6-12 minutes. This icemaker does not recover and re-use meltwater from the fresh ice storage bin so clear it out regularly. The ice storage bin is NOT refrigerated so you should clear it out and place in freezer or cooler every hour or so while producing the ice.Optional to use a water bottle on the top in the socket OR connect to tap water.Honestly either option works quite well. The tap water option has an inline water filter for very clean clear ice. Regular tap water won't make crystal clear ice.If you are running this constantly i recommend the connection to a water supply. If you run this occasionally you should probably use the Water Bottle on top as the inline water filter for the water tap line could easily grow bacteria if left wet for weeks between uses. There is a drain line for the unit. USE it when turning the unit off and storing it..There is a 'reservation' function that will let you set a timer so it starts a few hours before needed.Self cleaning cycle built in to unit. This actually works VERY well.Simple twist knob to switch between tap water feed and water bottle feed.Plugs in to regular 120 Volt service.I'm very impressed with this ice making unit and it is incredibly helpful when you need a barrel of ice for beverages when entertaining. If you have the space when traveling just fill a second cooler with ice cubes and transfer to the food/drink cooler as needed. Its incredibly simple to use as long as you have a power source and water to put in a jug. When getting a jug of water really try to find one of the ones with the built in handle. This makes it MUCH easier to lift and land in the socket on top of the ice maker.Very good value for a home and small business ice-maker.

Works perfect for all the gaming parties I throw. We no longer have to run out and get ice. Make a ton of it and we use it all. Only thing is the scooper is to big, had to buy a smaller one. But otherwise its great.

This is a very large unit. It feels good quality. Our only complaint is that the hose it comes with does not work for any of our sinks. The fitting is too narrow. We tried to buy something to help it fit, but havent had luck yet. We can put the water bottle jug on top, but need to purchase one to do so. It does not have a refrigerator component so the ice melts and recycles. Meant for making ice on demand. I am looking forward to the opportunity to make ice if I can get the water source figured out.

Based on the product pictures, I was expecting this ice maker to be the size of a narrow dishwasher. It's actually much smaller than that. If you were considering mounting this under a counter like a dishwasher would be mounted, you'd have a lot of space on top of it. This unit comes with a water filter that you can set up for using tap water. Or you can set it up like a water cooler with a big jug of water on top. That's a nice feature because it means you can use it without having to setup a water line to it. The ice it makes are little square nuggets. It actually comes out in one big rectangle, falls into the bin and breaks apart. If you have some ice in there already and it doesn't have far to go to fall, you're going to have big pieces that haven't broken apart yet. Not a big deal. If I'm filling a cooler, I just throw them into teh cooler and they break apart.A great feature this has is a timer. They call it a reservation -- but it's a timer. You can set it to start making ice anytime in a 24 hour period. That's good if you want ice ready for a trip to the beach or a something in the morning. This thing has a good compressor in it that makes ice quickly, but it's important to note that the bin is not a freezer. If you don't remove the ice, it will slowly melt so you need to transfer the ice into a freezer or cooler in order to prevent it from melting. If you don't have the freezer space for this, that can be annoying, but it does make ice nice and quickly. This saves us from having to buy ice to fill coolers. Overall, a solid product as long as you understand that this is not a freezer. It's not going to be able to store ice indefinitely. You turn this thing on specifically when you need ice.

We had a crowd in for Christmas. It was able to keep up with the Ice demand. When I got it I didn't realize it didn't recirculate the melted Ice instead of going down the drain tube. I wished it did.
