Cobra detector comes with cigarette lighter jack for power. It takes up a valuable source of energy for one device. This power cord allows multi plug cigarette jack to be used for more than one device. I can plug in my Cobra detector and charge my phone for example.This is a perfect fit amd alternative for OEM power cord. It works well and makes powering up more convenient.

I was looking for a good quality cable for a radar detector and this one worked pretty well. This cable is thick and made really well. This is designed for a Cobra but I ended up using it for a Whistler brand and the connection was a little lose but after sanding lip of the radar detector I was able to make it work perfectly and it even has a snug fit. This functions just as it should and I have not had any issues. My radar detector has power consistently I was able to upgrade my old cable with this new Type C cable for a great deal.
