Are radar detectors illegal?
Radar detectors are illegal only in Virginia, Washington DC, and most parts of Canada. They are also illegal in all 50 states for commercial drivers, such as truck drivers and taxi drivers.
What is the range of radar detectors?
In flat, open conditions the range is at least 2 miles. Please note that road conditions (hills and curves) can affect the range.
If you have a metal sunscreen film on your glass, it will absorb or reflect weak radar waves, which will also affect the range.
Why isn't my detector always detecting police cars?
Your detector will only detect a police car if the car has a radar gun, and if the gun is turned on. If the police car does not have a radar gun, or if the radar gun is not turned on, then there are no signals for your detector to receive.
Why am I getting shorter range?
Please make sure that your detector is mounted at the windshield, and that it has a clear view down the road. Make sure it is not blocked by a windshield wiper.
Why is the device not working at all?
All the frequency bands on the machine (including K,KA,X) can be turned off, you press two keys at the same time, you will hear a bi sound, indicating that the frequency band is closed, press the two keys at the same time again, hear two bibi sounds, the frequency band will work normally.

For the price it’s worth the money. Definitely saved me multiple times as it spots the cop like 1/3 mile away in either direction and gives you just enough time to slow down.

Great product, works well. It picks up all types of radars and security detectors from a good distance.Normally notifications are plenty of time to respond. It has save me several times.It will pay for itself.
