Poor quality. I had to file the proof meter end to get it to enter the square drive hole. Poorly machined. The engine drive end enters, but won’t engage. Didn’t work. Went back to the beat up original as it still does the job. This one is headed to the trash.

This part works on my 1952 8N Ford Tractor. As the only other reviewer noted, the connection at the governor is not made right. I suspect that the threads on the cable's connector are either metric, or a different thread count than the male threads on the governor. It will start easily by hand, but bind after about 3/4 turns. I wasted 20-30 minutes verifying that I was not cross threading it. Since the metal on the cable's connection was soft aluminum and Henry Ford's governor was cold steel, I forced it with channel-locking pliers. It looks chewed up, but now I know when I am turning at the correct PTO speed.Addendum 9/19/16: After 32.3 hours of use the offset on the cable tip disentigrated. My review is downgraded to "cannot reccomend ".
