I've tried a few different types and they do not have the correct size for 1/2" faucets. This doesn't need to screw into the nut so works really well

This Manual compression sleeve puller is okay. I tried to use it and it did not work in this application, it kept slipping around the ring so I hat to saw off the sleeve ring. It appears to be well made and durable, but unfortunately it did not work for me.

Didn’t work. Kept slipping from the compression ring. Went to Homedepot and bought a different one for $15 and that worked.
