I bought this as I lean back in my chair with my arm stretched out towards my desk with my hand on the mouse. This thing definitely helps with support as you wrest your arm on this. Not sure what I was thinking, but this is something that I needed and just didn't know it. Worth it. Doesn't sag, attached firmly to the desk, swivels left and right, and perfect length for me. Arm/elbow saver.

It's great, just what I was looking for. Gave it 4 stars because the material is not very comfortable on bare skin for prolonged amounts of time. I'll have to cover it with softer cloth or something.

These are the best arm rests of this type. The foam and cover on the others are junk compared to this item. The fold down feature is nice. The fold down arms make accessing the desk draws more easily.

What an arm saver! I work on a desk with two laptops one on the left and one on the right. When using the mouse on the left computer my arm rests fully on the desk, but when I work on the computer on the right my arm hangs over and I have been struggling with tendonitis in that shoulder. I added this little arm to my desk and it has been a lifesaver. My arm is no longer fatigued after a day of work. It moves with my arm so that I don't have to keep adjusting where I sit. It moves easily and it's easy to install. One point to keep in mind. It comes with a little pad for the top of the clamp to sit on the surface of the desk. I found that I needed something also on top of the little bottom knob that presses against the bottom surface of the desk. I simply cut a little slice of a rubberized drawer liner, and wrapped it from the top and down underneath then put the clamp on over the top of that holding everything in place and tightened it down. I haven't had a single problem with it since. It is a great addition to my work environment. Highly recommend

I needed this because the arms on my computer desk chair were too high even at the lowest setting so I took them off and put this on the computer desk and it works perfectly

Not easy to put together. You will need a pliers just for twisting it on. I hope it stays in place with the amount of work to put it together.

Since I have been working remotely and using a tiny desk for my work set up, I would develop either carpel tunnel or the tennis elbow quite severely that I would require physical therapy for the tennis elbow as my right arm will be numb and my hand and fingers would swell. No one could explain why. When I went to one of the therapy session the new therapist asked me if when at my desk my elbows are hanging off the edge of the desk. The answer was, "yes". Then she explained to me that when the elbows are hanging and you are using the mouse and type all day long, those elbow muscles will stay contracted continuously with no rest. This causes the muscles to cramp up and in return to pinch the nerve which causes for everything else to take a bad turn. So I ordered these arm rests and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. In my case it is worth the money. I tested with and without the arm rests and without them I feel the tension building up in my elbows, but once I use the arm rests all the tension is gone and I can actually feel the elbow muscle relaxing. This is such a great find.
