Password Setting:
1. Align the correct password with the on the side of the lock body, push the key switch by hand, and hold it down until the step is completed (In this process your hand can not loose)
2. Set the first password, such as 1-0-0-0, release the key switch, check whether the password is set successfully, then repeat the steps, and then set the second, third and fourth passwords separately.

This is actually a USB combination lock. (I was looking for- and thought I ordered- the standard type.) That said, it's really nice quality for the price. I was very skeptical of a USB lock when it arrived, but it seemed to work, so we'll keep it. One thing though- when putting in your combo and pressing the button to release, I had to pull/jiggle it a bit to get the lock out of the laptop. Hope it doesn't damage the usb port over time...
