This pen lights up when I touch it to the silver threads on my grounding blanket, but not when touched to the fabric. One might think the pen does its job, except that I unplugged the grounding blanket, and the pen still lit up when placed on the silver threads. I thought maybe there was some kind of electrical or grounding residue that would cause it to light up on an unplugged blanket, so I left the blanket unplugged for 2 days and the pen STILL lit up. So now I don't know if it just lights up when in contact with silver, regardless of grounding or not.I still rated as 4 stars because I wasn't sure if there was a reason why the pen would light up as I don't really understand how the grounding and conductivity works, since it only did not light up when in contact with non-silver fabric.

This ground pen works absolutely amazing. I ended up buying a 2nd one to keep in a separate room from the bedroom where I use other grounding products

I like it because the price was cheap and it truly works. I bought it for my grounding bed sheet. The light comes on to show that my sheet was grounded. It was very easy to use.
