The 3.5 gallon bucket works well for my camp shower. Soak the ring of the lid in hot water for a few minutes before attaching it to the bucket. You will be able to push it on using your hands. Similarity, the ring is easily removed if you soak it in hot water first.

I think the buckets are very durable and they're perfect for what I need them for. I love that the top can be screwed off.
