Not sure why these aren’t available at local hardware stores because this tool is super helpful! We bought it to help us measure and cut odd sized tile in the bathroom we are remodeling and it worked like a dream. So worth the money!

This concept is genius. Measure twice cut once, does not work for me....I measure twice and cut 3 times....if I could see better I'd be ok, however, this product is great....I do better at tracing then measuring.😁

I didn't know it but there are metal versions of these gauges available that actually work better. This will give you a rough idea of the shape of the contour you're trying to cut, but since the plastic pieces are so thick, it's always a jagged line (like the original 8 bit video games). It doesn't lock the shape real well so you'll have to be careful about transferring your contour to your board. Other ones do lock down well I understand. but it's cheap and may help you out a bit. I've yet to actually use it yet in a real project though.

I wish I had this years ago then we replaced the flooring in our house. We recently used it when we replaced some wood on a trailer. I love that this is a 2 pack with a wide and narrow gauge.

I have only played around with using these for contour gauging. They are easy to handle and seem accurate. Their thickness makes for a 3-d quality that really helps. I look forward to putting them to real use on my upcoming project.

I have placed it up against different types of borders, etc just to see how easy it is to use. It is easy. I then went to trace the new edge on paper, cut it out and took it back to the borders to check it out. Accurate. The price was great given the other ads are showing almost double the price. Also, I got 2 items in this kit, one wider and one longer to fit all different scenarios. I can't wait to actually use it. I see so many possibilities.
