The puzzle pieces are made of high-quality, sturdy materials with a magnetic backing that holds them securely in place, even when in motion. The included travel case is compact, lightweight, and durable—perfect for road trips, flights, or even waiting at a restaurant. We just took it to Europe for two weeks and it kept my four year-old entertained the entire trip! Highly recommended!My only con is the magnets “move” around on the inside of the toys, so it does make a little bit of sound, but you get used to it.

This product is great for kids in general. My son is autistic and he has really gotten into it. It's a cool way for kids to learn about basic shapes while honing their spacial skills. My neurotypical daughter enjoys making these into a house. It teaches kids the basics of physics and engineering as well. The tactical / sensory experience is good too - smooth with edges but won't hurt anyone. Highly recommend.

This was an instant hit with my four year-old grandson and he used it in the car as we drove back-and-forth to school every day. However, he is just four and the attention span is not that of an older child. I gave it a four because the marker isn’t the best. In theory and interest this is worth the buy.

My 4 year old loves doing these tangram puzzles every night before bed. Works wonderful because the pieces stay contained while we do a few puzzles before bed in our bed every night. I wish the magnets were a little bit stronger to hold as they topple easily. I also wish there were magnets on the board to help stabilize the puzzle when building the upright puzzles. Overall, great product though and lots of fun with my kid!

I got this set as a special toy for my three-year-old to use on a longer flight. He was so excited about it and was asking for several weeks when we would be going on the trip so he could play with this toy.I liked a lot about this set. The tan grams are a little advanced for my son, which was expected. I helped him make a few. Mainly he just played with the blocks and colored with the markers. The blocks are thick enough that they didn’t fall between the seats on the plane. They were easy to find when he dropped them. They also have a neat design for the magnets. Some of the magnets are loose within a little track, so one magnet can move up or down depending N on what block you pair it without they have a very satisfying click that is different than the standard magnetic tile.The only complaints I have are that, (1) the markers didn’t hold up super well. By the end of the trip, both the tips had been pushed into the body of the marker. The first one was damaged within about ten minutes. If your kids are still holding markers with a fist, you may want to get some spares. (2) the magnets of the board and markers would be even better if they were a little stronger. The blocks and markers slid off of the board pretty easily. (3) the kit did come with a little bag, but it was not very durable and broke about half way through our trip. I will be getting a cloth bag to store the set in so no pieces go missing.As a bonus, my one year old was obsessed with these blocks (with close supervision). He loved the rattle of the magnets and the click when you put them together.
