This still hasn't dethroned my favorite food processor, but it is really good for its class. It's easy to use and the included plates are sharp and easy to swap. The bowl is the sweet spot for capacity. It's not too bulky and works wonderfully. The chute is a good size and the machine isn't too loud when in use. Honestly very happy with it so far and can easily recommend.

Our 20-year-old food processor is coming to the end of its life. Plastic parts have yellowed and are starting to break. So I was looking around for a replacement and found this one by Cooklee. This is not a brand name I was familiar with, but sometimes different brand name items have really nice features, so I thought I’d give it a try!First, I looked at the power of this machine. It’s a 600-watt food processor, which I think is probably middle of the line. I’ve seen others that run from 400-watts to 1000-watts within a wide price range. So this lands right in the middle power-wise and price-wise.Next, I looked at the size of this machine. This food processor has a 12-cup bowl, which is quite big! Others run from 8-cups to 10-cups to 12-cups. I’ve even seen some huge ones with 14-cup bowls. I personally think the 12-cup bowl is the perfect size. It’s plenty big enough to shred an entire head of cabbage for coleslaw, but can handle small amounts just as well, too. The bowl locks into place safely and has a decent wide food chute (though I have seen bigger chutes).Then I examined all of its features. This food processor has a lot of choices in blades! It has three different shredding blades with fine and coarse shreds, with thin and thick slices on the other side, as well as a blade that can make French fries from potatoes! Yay! It also has a chopping blade which we use all the time to chop up nuts as well as for making amazing mashed potatoes or smooth hummus. It even comes with a dough blade to help cut down the amount of time it takes to make bread.Using this food processor is very simple. It has a single dial for speed (Min to Max) and 6 different touch-buttons. The top buttons are for the type of processing you’re going to do, such as ice-crushing, kneading, or chopping. The ice-crushing mode effectively makes this a blender because you can make smoothies with this machine! The bottom buttons are for using the self-cleaning cycle, and setting the time and speed. A digital display at the top shows the time/speed.We’ve been happy so far with the power and functionality of this food processor. It cuts and shreds and slices our veggies like a champ. It purees soups and makes nut butters and puddings. We even crush ice in here to make milkshakes and smoothies. About the only drawback, which most of these machines have these days, are all the plastic parts. Those are the weak points that always end up breaking over time. Sure wish they would just stick with metal, especially for the important parts, like the shaft and the collars to the blades/discs. Anyway, this food processor works great and is a powerhouse in our kitchen. I’m so glad I got it and I would recommend it to others!

I was looking to replace my old Breville that I really liked, except for the fact that you have to hold the stick power switch in a slightly uncomfortable position for a long time if you're doing something like making butter, plus I'd been dealing with having a piece on the power unit that broke off years ago that I could never figure out exactly where it came from. What I really liked about the Breville was how compactly it stores away. Since I had to pick my evil, I decided to pick usage over the fact I can't slide this under the half shelf in my cupboard anymore; however, this has a medium footprint so from that standpoint, it's not taking up my room on it's shelf than what it is replacing.Pretty easy to use, although I did consult the scant instructions to understand the different buttons on the touch screen.I wish the disks all fit in more readily for storage. You can get all 3 to fit, but it's a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to get the lid to sit down.I'm not certain why it has a separate self-cleaning button since I would think you can just run the thing with sopay water. Maybe there's a specific reason for it, but I'm thinking it's more just a bit of a gimmick. That said, it does do the job of cleaning; admittedly, I have not run it with a dough so I'm not sure if the self cleaning will get everything or if you'll still need to do some additional hand washing of the bowl.The RPMs are pretty powerful, so it worked quickly through the veggies I chopped up in it.The suction cups for feet do a good job of keeping the unit in place, so it shouldn't creep across the counter. It's also not too loud when in use. Sure, it makes noise, but I don't have to yell over it if talking with someone. Just speak loudly.
