I'm sorry, wish I could give this hat a better review. I never could get it to shade his eyes well, it does not want to stay forward. And my dog is a sniffer, every bush or post we come across, he just kept knocking the hat out of place. The good: the hat is well made & the sponge sewn into it holds lots of water, stays wet a long time. Perhaps for a dog with a smaller head it may work. My dog is a Rottweiler & even the large hat appeared small on him.

Did not like product. The way the lid is sewn, it sticks up at too high of an angle to be of any use shading the dog's eyes. The seam where the cap meets the lid is "sewn over" and pulls on the lid when it is secured on. Pass.

This hat is so cute on my dog! We get tons of compliments when we’re out and about. This is my 2nd purchase from this company. It’s obvious they really thought out the details of this hat, and I appreciate the directions they send for how to use it. I’m able to get a snug fit on my pup which really helps the hat stay in place. I’m happy that I found a good solution to help protect her from the sun when she’s outside for longer periods of time. Her head is white, and she gets sunburned easily. This truly helps!

I spent a lot of time looking for a cap for my elderly dog, she's almost 15 years old and overheats very easily.This cap hits all the points I wanted: efficient design, has roomy opening for floppy ears, and it doesn't fall off. The stitching is great, did not find any loose threads, very sturdy materials.As soon as I received it, I tried it on her, as you can see, she was eating her treats without a concern for the cap. Took her for a walk and she never was bothered by it; did not shake her head to loosen it at all. The cap goes with her mobility assistance harness :-).Thank you for creating an article that will help my dog enjoy her summer.

A quality item. Nice weight pretty fabric. Well made with neat stitching - no raw or edges to unravel. designed with a little dart on the crown for a smooth sleek fit. Easy put on ear loops then snug on with the cut-to-fit velcro strap that goes under the chin not the neck. Keeps hat on. Good brim size which has the underside also finished with complimenting tropical print.Not just a pretty accessory: cool down your dog's head by dampening the cap's underside terry liner.Outstanding customer service. They actually called, texted, and emailed to double check sizing practically as soon as the order was place. Shipped fast.One Husky that feels really spiffy and cool - and one dog mom happy to have his big blue eyes cool in the shade.

This cap is very well made. The long and sturdy velcro strap keeps the cap in place. The terry cloth can be wetted down to keep my girl cool. I put it on Kai and she did not mind it al all - in fact she pranced around ! Most people comment on it as it looks so cute on her. I am thankful the sun rays will be blocked for her - just like we humans need caps, so do our companions. There was excellent communication from the owner . He emailed with a few questions to ensure that I ordered the right size to get the right fit.

I honestly love how this looked but the size is sort of off. I had to make minor adjustments to make the ear pockets smaller but it’s cute. Definitely will fall off if your dog loves windy car rides.
