We live in a mobile home and I thought it was impossible to lower our electric bill but this unit has done exactly that. We installed it in July and our power bill has dropped $50 a month. It connects easily to BT so it can be controlled from our cell phones. No need to get off the sofa to adjust the temperature! We bought a cheaper model for our bedroom and it does not have the BT feature. Definitely a feature to shop for!

Everything went great. Heats and cools well! I wish the model I purchased came with the WiFi adapter. Looks nice and heats and cools well! Be careful with the flairs as they are easy to mess up.

I bought this unit and had it installed by a licensed AC contractor. Within 3 weeks the freon had leaked out. I called this seller and they immediately said it was not covered by warranty as it had not been installed correctly. Not so.i argued with them, eventually got a manager who said they could supply another compressor at a reduced rate. It turned out be almost as expensive as the whole unit.I then had that installed and 3 weeks later that too had a freon leak from exactly the same fitting. This time I called a different contractor, licensed of course, to diagnose the problem. He took one look at it and said that I should stay clear of these particular Cooper Hunter units as, in his words, 'they are known for having this issue'. Again, this seller refused to address the issue, saying it had not been installed by a licensed AC tech. When I showed him that it had he then blamed user error and refused to either refund, or repair. He thought he was really clever, almost taunting me as he said 'good luck'.$2600 down the drain, no customer service, no integrity, and no mini-split. The worst transaction I have ever been involved with, by the worst seller on Amazon. i now have another unit, not CH, installed by the same installer as before, and no issues at all to report.A company should not be judged solely on the quality of the product (this would have been a one star anyway for that) but also on the after sales service and the way they conduct themselves. I would give this zero stars for that, and cannot recommend this company at all. In fact, I would advise anyone considering them to run as fast as they can in the other direction, just like this seller did when I called them to report a defective unit. Shameful.

I bought this unit to cool a small warehouse for a home-based business. It replaced a wood stove and large Window AC unit. I did the entire install myself in a few hours. The only item that I outsourced was running the 220 line and wiring in the disconnect switch. Once the power was run the unit was super easy to install. The only special tools needed were a 45* flaring tool and a vacuum pump. The lineset cut and flared really easily with the cutter included with the flaring tool. I deburred the lines with the tool that came with the flaring tool as well. Once the fittings were connected to the unit I used the vacuum pump to evacuate the lines and check for leaks. Some installer will run a nitrogen pressure test, but in my experience if the unit will hold 30 in/hg of vacuum it should be just fine.Once the vacuum test passed, I disconnected the pump, opened the valves to let the refrigerant into the lines and powered on the unit. It took a few minutes for it to self-check and start working. Once it was powered on and producing heat, we noticed a small hum from the unit that eventually went away. This 24000 BTU unit warms the shop up in no time and keeps it super comfortable. Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far I'm very happy with this purchase.

I’ve had this for 3 months now and so far it is great. I installed most of it myself and had a local hvac contractor make the final connections and checks so I could maintain the warranty. The hvac guy charged me $150 for his work so keep that in mind when pricing. The remote and WiFi app are a little sketch but I was able to keep tabs on my house for two weeks while out of town and turn it on and off. Some things I want to point out. I purchased a 24k btu unit for a room that is 850 sq ft. When the outside air is 90 degrees I am able to kick this thing on 62 degrees with turbo fan setting and it will drop the room temp 1 degree every 15 min with no limit other than the set temp.... that in itself is fantastic! One thing I don’t like is even though this machine claims it is energy star certified, it doesn’t qualify for the $800 energy rebate my local utility offers, this was a pretty big disappointment considering I paid extra for this one to get the rebate. One last thing, if your app constantly says the unit is offline, then you need to reset the unit at the breaker in the panel, just flip the breaker, count to ten, then flip it back on and it will work.I’m rating this unit 5 stars but to be honest, I’d likely buy a unit that is officially energy star rated in order to get a better unit with the rebate for the amount spent.Supply items I had to buy to install cost roughly another 200 bucks, my unit was 40 feet from my breaker panel and 23 feet between indoor and outdoor unit.Hope this helps.EDIT: I used this unit to heat my house in the late fall and now early spring, it is a great heater and will heat down to about 5 degrees outside. I tested it at negative 2 and it still heated but was only pushing out 117 degrees compared to the 130's and 140s at the higher temps. Also, if your app constantly tells you that you are offline, you can flip the disconnect switch (if you installed) right next to the indoor unit, off then on and it will reset the wifi. I still feel it is worth the money Check out my review on you tube under "Jackofalltrades1" (I can't include link, sorry).
