This little vacuum is GREAT for above ground pools. My pool is a 15' x 4' deep, does a fabulous job and I do have a couple wrinkles, but those do not slow this little guy down! This is my 2nd one (different sellers). I purchased a more expensive one prior thinking it would be better.... nope ! That one kept getting hung up on the pool floor seam and barely had any power to get it to the other side of the pool. Highly recommend this style. Picks up EVERYTHING, even real fine pollen plus very easy to clean.

I have a tiny pool. This guy does a great job of cleaning dirt and smaller leaves from the bottom. Easy to clean and recharge its battery.

I had an apex and really liked it. I decided to try this one and it does not last very long, suction not great, and does not cover a small round pool. Goes in same path over and over.

If your pool is not 100% level be prepared for the vacuum to stop and not want to turn around when it gets by a wall. Drives me crazy.

This is a waste of money. The concept is great, the reality is the product fails in functionality. First, this was reviewed based on the purchase for an 18' diameter above ground pool. Yes, the liner is very smooth on the bottom of the pool. Upon initially charging the robot vacuum fully and placing it in the pool, the vacuum was stuck in one position at the bottom of the pool after merely moving a couple of feet. I used the pool net to attempt to free it only to find it stuck again within a few feet and just sat on the bottom opening one valve to try to propulsion itself in one direction, giving up, then opening the opposite valve to try to propulsion itself in the opposite direction but alas it did not have the strength to move. After retrieving the robot back from the pool, I decided to remove the small squeegee pieces that attach to the vacuum opening on the underside of the robot, thinking this may be what is sticking on the bottom of the pool. Once recharge, I place the robot vacuum back into the pool. After a few short passes in the pool, I find the robot vacuum again is stuck, so I take the pool net and push it slightly to free it again and once again within a few passes, it is stuck again, just opening and closing the propulsion valves until exhausting the battery. I remove the robot from the pool noting how heavy the thing is and realizing the wheels are really not conducive to roll across anything other than a concrete service, if that. I decide to lighten the weight of the robot somewhat by attaching a small piece of pool noodle to the handle and recharge the robot. Back to the water. This time, the robot appeared to be off to a good start, almost floating across the bottom of the pool (for a few passes), then stuck again. At this point, I am calling the robot vacuum a complete failure in design. The vacuum does pick up debris from the bottom but the robot will not move across the liner as described in the advertisement. I feel certain that the design of the wheels on the bottom is the major issue as they act as anchors when they stop rolling and the motor for the vacuum is not strong enough to propulsion the robot vacuum when this happens. I also feel the unit is too heavy for the lack of motor power to move it around the pool floor. Attaching a piece of pool noodle to it helped but obviously this thing needs to go back to the engineering department.

Easy to use and clean but after the third run, large sections were left uncleaned. 24 foot pool might be too big for this vacuum. Also, when lifting from pool, a lot of debris drained out the bottom of the vacuum back into the pool.

Cleaning the pool can be such a time-consuming and exhausting task, especially for my aging parents. That's why I got them this pool cleaning robot. It's incredibly easy to use, just turn it on and drop it in the water. It works like a charm, covering every corner of the pool, just like a robot vacuum cleaner for the floor. It effortlessly picks up leaves, sand, and even stubborn dirt. Plus, it automatically avoids obstacles, so even if the pool isn't perfectly shaped, it's not a problem. We're all very satisfied with the cleaning results. And the best part? It only needs to be charged once to clean the entire pool, and afterward, all we have to do is rinse the filter. It's so convenient and hassle-free. My parents were excited with this gift, and it's made a huge difference in their daily lives.
