I've waited to post this review for 6 months to be able to give an honest review. This robot does a great job cleaning our pool. Our pool is about 20'x30' and an odd shape. The robot cleans every inch. It is capable of cleaning walls, pool bottom or both having 3 modes to choose from. We used this every day including Northern Calif. winter months and had Zero problems. I clean/wash it after every use and it take me all of a few minutes to do so. Charge it for the following day and in to the pool it goes. No more lengthy hoses or broken down pool sweeps.

I had high hopes for this pool cleaner. It is very impressive to look at. Unfortunately it does not pick up the debris at the bottom of the pool. It spends most of his battery climbing up the walls of the pool and doing wheelies on the bottom of the pool. While the wheelies are fun to watch, nothing is being sucked up from the bottom of the pool. I had no idea this robot cleaned the sides of the pool, maybe I missed that while researching this item, but I do not need the pool sides cleaned as they are not dirty. I need leaves and debris picked up from the bottom of the pool. Unfortunately, this robot does not do that. I missed the return window as I had surgery which is a shame as I would definitely return this item. Huge waste of money.addendum: Within a day of posting my review NexTrend Direct customer service reached out and offered a full refund for this robot.

This is my 4th pool vacuum and my favorite. After researching the best but most value for my money, I decided on buying this vacuum. It works well to clean out my above ground pool. You can use the app but it is not necessary. You mash the button once to turn on and do the floor and walls, twice to clean only the walls, and three times to clean the floor only which is our usual choice. It cleans the entire floor of our pool without missing a spot or getting stuck, is easy to clean, and easy to charge.

I purchased this pool robot to clean my 18x32 pool.Pros: Battery life is good and yes it does climb the walls. The pool robot bluetooth pairs with the phone and can be commanded to "only do floor" or "do everything."Cons: On a full charge the suction does not seem to pick up some debris on the pool floor. I watch the pool robot drive over dirt on the floor and the dirt remains in the pool. I clean the filter after each use and it seems to only do "so-so" and sometimes it takes a recharge and a second attempt to clean the pool. I was expecting better performance from such a high-dollar robot.

I wasn’t sure about this, but there is so much construction around us now the pool was having to be swept more often, so I decided to get this. I wanted easy. Turn on, put in poolAnd let it do its thing. I didn’t want to fool with apps. But I did find out to get it out of the mode it’s in when it comes you have to download the app. I know this because I called customer support because I was going to send it back. (They answered right away and helped me) after you download app it automatically stays in full mode. Which is sides and bottom. You do have the option of just doing bottom or just sides. But when you turn it in after that each time it is in full mode. It runs for about 2.5 hours or more. I don’t watch it the whole time. It stops in a corner when it’s done (no more battery) there is a hook you attach to your own pole to pull it out. pool is perfectly clean. I have a 12x24 kayak pool. It even climbs the stairs I have in the pool. This is first summer (and it was at the end, used it for about a month) I wish I had got it sooner. I hope this last. Easy to clean and charge.
