This little cultivator is just what I needed to till up small spots in my vegetable garden. It is compact and lightweight, plus since it is cordless/battery powered it has no cord to risk running over and no rope to pull to start it. NOTE: It is a tool only so comes with NO battery. It is compatible with Dewalt 20v batteries or you can do like I do and get an adapter to allow you to run Ryobi batteries in it.Assembly was pretty easy, though there is not a very good instruction given for the way the handle is supposed to attach. I pointed mine with the (slight) angle downward as it seemed to give me a more stable hold. I also set it a few degrees off the mid-line as that felt more comfortable. This unit works well to mix in any ameliorates for your soil or to help keep weeds under control. I would not depend on this to break new ground being as small and light as it is. Still, I suspect this will get a fair amount of use during the growing season and will relieve me from pulling an extension cord or mixing gas and yanking a starter rope this summer.

This is an awesome garden tool!! I was surprised at how powerful it is, does a great job of pulling up and turning over soil. Makes gardening oh so much easier. Just make sure to read the full description, there is no battery included.

My wife and I both tried it – I had no issues working with it from a stability standpoint, but she had difficulty holding the power button in with her thumb – maybe more suited for a larger hand. Also it seemed a little unstable for her while tilling and she found more difficulty keeping it stable because it wanted to rock side to side. For our raised beds it worked great and has plenty of power to till the soil. The main negative we had was trying to get it to turn off. This happened almost every time we went to shut it off. We would release the button and it kept going so we had to keep pushing it at least a half a dozen times before it would turn off – to us that was a major negative. Functionality we would give it a 4 but because of the safety of not shutting off it is a 3.

This tiller works great. Much lighter than a gas powered tiller. It’s about the size of a battery powered weedeater so it’s easy to store it. And it has a battery meter so you know how much power you have left. Best gardening tool I have got in a while.

It doesn't take up too much space in the garage. Works with my dewalt batteries. It is a little difficult to wield with no wheels or stability supports while tilling, but for some light work, it's good. Better than digging. :) I am having an issue with mine where it won't turn off. You push a safety button and then the power to turn it on, but when I release the power button it doesn't turn off. I had to carefully lay it down, while running, and remove the battery to turn it off. Not very safe in my opinion.

From chainsaws and blowers to pressure washers and miter saws, I have a lot of tools because I would rather do a professional job and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done, than hire. This TILLER is unbelievable. It exceeds all my expectations and is so good I would give it six stars if possible. You would think, no way-not heavy enough to penetrate the soil. No way this thing has the torque or horsepower to tear up dirt. This tiller rips through it! Take a look at the two pictures. This was 20 minutes of multiple layered tilling and moving the fluffed up soil. Saves picking and hoe-ing and saves your back! Unbelievable! When vines and sod mesh clog up the wheel, remove the pin and wheel and the stuff comes off with a few pulls. Much easier than trying to remove the stuff with the wheel on as the stuff gets bound around the spindle. Highly highly recommend. It will thatch, it will till, it will do exactly what you are hoping it will. And I am as surprised as I am, I kid you not.
